childsafe

Project ChildSafe, is a nationwide program that helps ensure save and responsible firearm ownership and storage that promotes gun safety for everyone.

We have FREE gun locks available for  the public. The firearms safety kits include a safety brochure that covers a variety
of options for firearms storage and a free cable-style gun lock.

Education Programs

school roomThe School Program  provides  law enforcement assistance to the school community to develop and foster a more positive attitude toward law enforcement and to combat crime on a delinquency prevention basis.

Deputies serve as a resource to students, parents, faculty, and staff by:  
Teaching and explaining the law enforcement role in society.
Providing programs for faculty, staff and PTO's as requested.
Being available to talk with interested students, faculty, and/or  parents, on questions or concerns as they relate to the law enforcement role.
Responding to law enforcement calls for service or conducting   investigations at the schools.
