TEAM MISSION
The mission of the Mercer County Dive Team is to assist the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office with any land, water or underwater search and recovery.
It is our goal to achieve the highest Search and Rescue (SAR), dive standards and training possible so that we can respond professionally and safely to any situation. | DIVE RESCUE AND LAND SEARCH DEFINITION
Rescue means the act of searching for, rescuing or recovering by means of ground or marine activity, any object or any person who is missing, lost, injured, or has died in a water or land environment. DIVE & SAR TEAM STRUCTURE
This organization shall not interfere with its members' employment. The rescue team will not be operated for the profit of the members. The team consists of volunteers with a total of 15-25 (30 maximum) members |
