Crop Scouting rates also covers Crop Production Planning which includes calculating
inputs of ag checmicals and fertilizers plus assistance in proper application procedures
to maximize crop production. Crop Scouting includes a weekly report on the status of
your crop. This consists of crop and weed staging as well as chemical recommendations.
Scouting for leaf disease and insects will be done on all types of crops.

Soil Testing will be done with a four wheel drive pickup with a unit mounted in the cab.
This unit is capable of going through a fair amount of frost. On open winters soil testing
may be possible in almost any month. Spring testing will start as soon as we can get into
the fields without creating ruts.

Rates for Soil Testing will vary according to what tests are requested.
We recommend using the small grains package which in addition to N & P also includes
pH, Sulfur, Salts and Potassium.
