Cal Webster, the sole owner and operator of Webster's Taxidermy in Minot, North Dakota, has been practicing the art of fine taxidermy for nearly 30 years. A keen student of wildlife behavior, he has spent thousands of hours studying birds and animals in their natural habitat. He brings this experience to his work, resulting in trophys very different from the common static bird, fish or animal trophy. Each trophy is unique and is worked according to the customer's instructions. Custom backgrounds, bases, poses, and plaques are often requested, and are beautifully incorporated into the mount. All of the material used in the taxidermy process is of the highest quality. Cal keeps updated on the latest techniques in the taxidermy art. Each of the mounts leaving the shop looks dynamic, elegant, graceful and alive, with painstaking attention to detail.

Cal is approaching retirement, and is no longer accepting new customers. Also, he is no longer accepting head mounts or fish, and will be limiting his work to birds.
