Home Trophy Care
Proper care of your mounted trophy is simple and not that much different from other household cleaning. A feather duster should be used while cleaning to dust birds, mammals, and big game mounts. A clean, damp rag can also be used to gently wipe dust off fur, hair, bills, and feet. Remember to never stroke against the grain of the hair or feathers. Cleaning antlers and horns with a damp rag will also keep them clean and shiny. Furniture polish can be used on antlers if great care is taken to not get any on the hair. Commercially available cleaners specifically for mounts are available, but are not really necessary.
