training center curriculum |

recommended for such work by the church board of the local church of which
they are members, to which the recommendation shall be attached to the
Application for Minister's License and carefully filled in. |

Having given evidence of grace, gifts, and usefulness |

Have been carefully examined, under the direction of the
district assembly of the district within the bounds of which they hold church
membership, regarding their spiritual, intellectual, and other fitness for
such work, including background checks as determined by the Advisory Board. |

|
|
| 6 |
Having promised to pursue immediately a validated course of
study prescribed for licensed ministers and candidated for ordination |
|
|
|
|
| 7 |
Have had any disqualifications, which may have been imposed by a
district assembly, removed by an explanation in writing by the district
superintendent and the District Advisory Board of the District where the
disqualification was imposed; and provided further that their marriage
relationship does not render them ineligible for a district license or
ordination. |

In case of a previous divorce and remarriage, the recommendation
of the DMDB along with supporting documents will be given to the general
superintendent in jurisdiction, which may remove this a barrier to pursuing a
license or ordination. |

And, if candidate is newly assigned to the district, they are
required that all transcripts, support documentation and licensing is
transferred to DMDB and District secretary before acknowledgement of District
license |

A minister's license shall terminate with the close of the next
district assembly. It may be renewed by vote of the district assembly,
provided: |
a |
That the
candidate for renewal shall file with the district assembly the Application
for Minister's license carefully filled in; and provided |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
b |
That the candidate shall have completed at least two course in a
validated course of study; and provided |
|
|
|
|
|
|
c |
That the candidate has been recommended for the renewal of
license by the church board of the local church of which he or she is a
member, upon the nomination of the pastor. (see 427.3 for further
instructions) |

|
|
|
|
Licensed
ministers who have graduated from a validated course of study and have been
placed in retired relation by the district assembly shall, with the
recommendation of the District Advisory Board, have their license renewed
without filing of an Application for Minister's License. (203.4) |
