This is a quiet area, ideal for walking and bicycling. We are located approximately 60 miles from Minot and Bismarck on Highway 200. Riverdale is a beautiful town on Lake Sakakawea and was originally built by the Corps of Engineers during the construction of the Garrison Dam on the Missouri River system.
While in Riverdale you can see "Misty" the Sakakawea Mermaid in the town center. The mermaid was sculpted by Tom Neary.
